Job summary

Heidelberg Materials North America is seeking a Production Supervisor for our Delta, BC cement operations. You will lead a 24/7 unionized team under the Production Manager, ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable production while meeting quality and environmental goals.

Responsibilities include supervising shift crews, coordinating with maintenance, and enforcing the collective bargaining agreement. The role requires strong leadership, technical aptitude, and a commitment to safety in a demanding

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; technical college education in mechanical, electrical, or process control preferred.
• Proven leadership and supervisory experience in industrial/manufacturing environments.
• Experience leading unionized workforce in a collective bargaining environment preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong technical aptitude to troubleshoot operational, quality, environmental, and equipment issues.
• Cement manufacturing experience and knowledge of cement processes desired.
• Proficiency with MS Office; SAP and Kronos are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise shift crews to maximize production while upholding safety, quality, and environmental standards.
• Monitor plant operations, troubleshoot issues, and make timely decisions for continuous cement production.
• Coordinate with maintenance and other departments to investigate faults and improve continuity.
• Administer the collective bargaining agreement and apply policies consistently.
• Collaborate with supervisors during shift handovers, outages, and special projects for seamless 24/7 operations.
