Job summary

Evergreen School Division invites applications for a temporary Educational Assistant position at Arborg Collegiate. The role runs 0.75 hours per day from 3:15pm to 3:30pm, effective ASAP through December 22, 2026.

The successful candidate will support students academically, socially, and behaviorally, assist with communication and speech-language activities, and help implement individualized student programming while aiding with supervision and daily routines.

Qualifications

• Minimum of Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Para Educator Certificate desired.
• Relevant training and experience.
• Course work in behavior management.
• Demonstrable computer/technology skills.

Responsibilities

• Supporting students academically, socially, and behaviorally.
• Assisting with communication and speech-language activities.
• Supporting individualized student programming.
• Assisting with supervision and daily routines.
• Assisting with library support duties, including acquisitions, cataloguing, assisting students and staff, book fairs, etc.
• Supporting student safety, personal care, and mobility needs as required.
