Job summary

Evergreen School Division invites applications for a temporary Educational Assistant at Arborg Early Middle School. Position runs ASAP to June 30, 2027, with a 5.75-hour schedule on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays (9:00am-3:15pm, 30 min lunch).

Qualifications

• Minimum of Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Para Educator Certificate desired.
• Relevant training and experience.
• Course work in behavior management.

Responsibilities

• Supporting students academically, socially, and behaviorally.
• Assisting with communication and speech-language activities.
• Supporting individualized student programming.
• Assisting with supervision and daily routines.
• Assisting with library support duties, including acquisitions, cataloguing, assisting students and staff, book fairs, etc.
