Job summary

Evergreen School Division invites applications for a 5.75hr/day Temporary Educational Assistant position at Arborg Collegiate, ASAP to November 27, 2026, 9:00am-3:15pm with a 30 minute lunch.

The role involves supporting students academically, socially and behaviorally, assisting with communication and speech-language activities, and helping with daily routines and library tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Para Educator Certificate desired.
• Relevant training and experience.
• Course work in behavior management.
• Demonstrable computer/technology skills.

Responsibilities

• Supporting students academically, socially, and behaviorally.
• Assisting with communication and speech-language activities.
• Supporting individualized student programming.
• Assisting with supervision and daily routines.
• Assisting with library support duties, including acquisitions, cataloguing, assisting students and staff, book fairs, etc.
• Supporting student safety, personal care, and mobility needs as required.
