Position Overview:

Under the direction of the Manager of Human Resources, the Human Resources Officer will be part of a team responsible for delivering a variety of Human Resource services and tasks including recruitment, retention, new employee orientation, training, health & safety, benefits administration, payroll, data entry, collective agreement and policies compliance, as well as additional administrative functions.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • A Certificate or Diploma in Human Resources Management or Business Administration is required.
  • Two or more years of experience in human resources and/or business administration.
  • Experience with Human Resources Information Systems, preferably Sage HRIS and ADP.
  • Ability to work flexible hours as determined by the Manager of Human Resources based on service requirements.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and access to a reliable personal vehicle.
  • Must complete a criminal records check.
