GuidewireSystems Business Analyst (BSA)
As aGuidewire Systems Business Analyst (BSA), you will join a team contributing toa strategic Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance Transformation Program.You will participate in the evolution of Guidewire solutions by acting as aliaison between business and technology teams. You will work closely withbusiness partners, developers, architects, and quality assurance specialists todefine, document, and implement solutions that meet organizational needs. Youwill contribute to process analysis, requirements definition, and thecontinuous improvement of solutions and delivery practices. You will activelyparticipate in the delivery of Guidewire initiatives in an Agile environment,ensuring alignment between business needs, proposed solutions, andorganizational objectives.
Morespecifically, you will be responsible for:
- Acting as an intermediarybetween business and technology teams to gather, analyze, and documentbusiness and functional requirements
- Participating in the analysisof business processes and recommending solutions to improve operationalefficiency and business value
- Translating business needs intouser stories, business rules, functional specifications, and otherdeliverables required for solution implementation
- Preparing impact analyses,process diagrams, and functional documentation to support solution designand delivery
- Collaborating with developers,quality assurance specialists, architects, and business partnersthroughout the delivery lifecycle to ensure a shared understanding ofrequirements and solutions
- Participating in the analysis,design, planning, and implementation of Guidewire solutions
- Contributing to the definitionof test cases and supporting functional validation and user acceptancetesting activities
- Monitoring incidents,enhancement requests, and functional issues in collaboration with therelevant teams
- Participating in the resolutionof production issues and providing user support when required
- Actively participating in Agileceremonies and contributing to the continuous improvement of processes,practices, and delivery methods.
Requirements
RequiredExpertise:
- Bachelor's degree in BusinessAdministration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a relateddiscipline
- A minimum of eight (8) years ofrelevant experience in business analysis or functional analysis, includingfive years as a Systems Business Analyst (BSA) working with the Guidewireplatform
- Please note that othercombinations of relevant education and experience may be considered
- Experience in the Property& Casualty insurance industry
- Experience in gathering,analyzing, and documenting business and functional requirements
- Experience writing userstories, functional specifications, business rules, and impact analyses
- Experience delivering projectsin an Agile environment and in preparing and executing functional and useracceptance testing
- French language proficiencyrequired
- Advanced English proficiencydue to the nature of the responsibilities, work tools, and interactionswith English-speaking partners, members, and clients
- Advanced knowledge ofapplication integration concepts as well as REST/SOAP, XML, and JSONtechnologies
- Advanced knowledge of Property& Casualty insurance business processes
- Knowledge of collaboration andmanagement tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Visio, and the Microsoft Officesuite
- Knowledge of underwriting,billing, or claims processes in Property & Casualty insurance
