About Us

Maplesoft Group is currently seeking a Hybrid Guidewire Business Systems Analyst (BSA) for a contract opportunity. This is a highly technical BSA role with a strong emphasis on Guidewire integrations, API testing, and system integration analysis rather than configuration. The BSA will work closely with other Business Systems Analysts and technical teams to ensure seamless system-to-system data flow.

Position Summary

We are seeking a Business Systems Analyst with strong Guidewire PolicyCenter, integration, and testing experience. The ideal candidate will bring Guidewire policy domain knowledge, hands-on API and integration testing experience, and the ability to collaborate effectively across business and technical teams.

This role is particularly suited to a BSA who is comfortable working on the technical side of Guidewire implementations, analyzing integrations and validating system behavior through functional and integration testing.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze Guidewire system integrations and system-to-system data flows.
• Perform hands-on API and integration testing using Postman or equivalent tools.
• Validate API request and response payloads, status codes, and error handling.
• Conduct integration, functional, and risk-based testing.
• Work closely with other BSAs and technical teams to analyze and resolve integration issues.
• Support testing activities to ensure seamless data exchange between systems.
• Analyze business and technical requirements related to Guidewire functionality and integrations.
• Contribute to the validation of solutions and system changes within the Guidewire environment.

Required Qualifications

• Strong Business Systems Analysis experience in a technical environment.
• Experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter.
• Proven experience testing APIs and system integrations.
• Hands‑on experience with Postman or equivalent API testing tools.
• Experience validating request/response payloads, HTTP status codes, and error handling.
• Strong experience performing integration and functional testing.
• Experience with risk-based testing.
• Strong ability to collaborate with business analysts, developers, QA, and other technical teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Guidewire Integration/API experience.
• Experience with Guidewire ClaimCenter or BillingCenter.
• Guidewire configuration experience.
• Prior QA or dedicated testing experience.
• Experience working in complex enterprise system integration environments.

Compensation

Salary Range: $60.00 - $80.00 / hour
