Taber Christian School, part of Horizon School Division in Taber, Alberta, seeks an Educational Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a student with life skills and daily tasks. Approximately 31 hours weekly, Monday to Friday 8:30 a.m. to 3:15 p.m.

Responsibilities

• Encourages students to develop and maintain positive interaction.
• Maintains confidentiality and a patient, supportive commitment to students.
• Provides personal care including toileting, diapering, feeding, dressing, grooming, etc.
• Ensures the safety of students in the school and community, including supervision and sanitization of equipment.
• Maintains collegial relationships with the students' learning team.
