As part of an Extraordinary team, the Systems Administrator will play a key role in supporting the implementation, optimization, and ongoing support of Niagara Health's patient-facing digital solutions, with a primary focus on the Health Records Self-Registration Kiosk initiative. Working closely with Health Records, Registration, Clinical Informatics, ICT teams, vendors, and operational stakeholders, the incumbent will help design, implement, test, and support workflows that improve patient access, registration efficiency, data quality, and privacy compliance.
The Systems Administrator will be responsible for requirements gathering, workflow analysis, system configuration, testing, issue resolution, training, and vendor coordination. The successful candidate will serve as a liaison between end users, project teams, and technology partners to ensure solutions meet clinical and operational needs while supporting Niagara Health's digital transformation objectives.
The successful candidate will dedicate a significant portion of their time to the planning, implementation, testing, deployment, and operational transition of Niagara Health's Self-Registration Kiosk program, supporting patient identity management, registration workflows, privacy requirements, and user adoption activities.
This position may require participation in after-hours support activities and project implementations. The primary work location is the Welland Site; travel between Niagara Health sites may be required. This is a hybrid position with a minimum of one on-site day per week, with additional on-site presence as operational needs dictate, subject to change.
