Working to promote quality patient/client-centred care and high professional standards, the Emergency Room Technician will assist the ED care teams and patients with, initial and ongoing patient assessments, monitoring VS, O2 therapy, Sp02 monitoring, IV therapy, performing 12 lead ECGs, blood glucose testing, assisting with ambulation, turning and positioning of patients, supporting stable offload patients and other unit functions within the Paramedics knowledge, skill and judgement. Continuous collaboration with the RN team members is essential.
