WGT EHR Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Vision Solution Engineer to develop, configure and optimise machine vision solutions for inspection and defect detection. You will work with vision hardware and software, evaluate performance and explore new technologies.

The role requires hands-on experience with HIK, OpenCV, HALCON, Cognex VisionPro and programming in C++, C#, or Python. Travel may be required and strong communication with field service teams is expected.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical or Electrical/Electronic engineering with at least 2 years in machine vision.
• Hands-on experience with HIK, OpenCV, HALCON, Cognex VisionPro.
• Programming knowledge in C++, C#, and/or Python for vision applications.
• Good understanding of vision/optical inspection systems and camera interfaces (TCP/IP, RS-232).
• Knowledge of deep learning-based vision solutions is a plus.
• Willingness to travel as required.

Job Overview

We are looking for a Vision Solution Engineer to develop, configure and optimise machine vision solutions for inspection, measurement and defect detection applications. You will work with vision hardware and software, provide technical support, evaluate system performance and explore new vision technologies for implementation across projects.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop, test and maintain machine vision applications for measurement, defect inspection, component presence detection and other automated inspection requirements.
• Select and configure vision hardware including cameras, lighting, PCs, frame grabbers, motion control and related interfaces to achieve optimal system performance.
• Develop and optimise vision solutions using platforms/libraries such as HIK, OpenCV, HALCON or Cognex VisionPro.
• Evaluate system performance, troubleshoot technical issues and provide technical support to field service engineers and customers.
• Prepare technical documentation, conduct training and explore new machine vision technologies for implementation in relevant projects.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent, with at least 2 years of relevant machine vision experience.
• Hands-on experience with HIK, OpenCV, HALCON, Cognex VisionPro or similar machine vision platforms.
