Now Hiring: Full-Time Veterinary Technician Eastern Market – Washington, DC Three 10-hour shifts per week + every other Saturday $22–$27/hour, based on experience and licensure
We’re growing our team and looking for a dedicated Full-Time Veterinary Technician who’s passionate about animal care and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Located just one block from the Metro (Orange, Blue, and Silver lines), we’re nestled in the heart of the vibrant Eastern Market neighborhood. With plenty of nearby shops, restaurants, and cafes, it’s a fun and convenient place to work—and unwind after your shift.
You’ll support a variety of services including:
Soft tissue surgeries
Laser therapy
Ultrasound procedures
Low-stress handling techniques
AAHA-accredited protocols
You’ll also work with modern tools and systems like Scribenote (AI charting), Vet FM software, and Abaxis in-house lab equipment to keep your workflow efficient.
1–2 years of veterinary experience preferred Proficient in medical terminology, venipuncture, and surgical/anesthesia support Comfortable with vaccination protocols and clinical procedures Licensure preferred but not required—compensation reflects your experience and credentials
