Armour Veterinary Ophthalmology is seeking a compassionate and experienced Veterinary Technician to become a vital member of our growing ophthalmology team in Washington D.C. What You’ll Do:
As a key member of our ophthalmology team, you'll assist with appointments by reviewing patient records, taking detailed client histories, and ensuring low-stress handling. You'll coordinate procedures by generating estimates, scheduling cases, and communicating with clients and other specialty departments. Your role also includes collecting and processing laboratory samples, performing specialized ophthalmic diagnostics, and assisting with sedated procedures. Additionally, you'll support the ophthalmologist during surgeries and provide attentive pre- and post-operative care to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Schedule: This is a full time, weekday position.
