Job summary

VMD in Brazil is seeking an experienced diesel vehicle technician to perform maintenance, servicing, troubleshooting, and repair of diesel-powered vehicles. You will inspect, diagnose, and repair engine-related faults using computerized diagnostic equipment, and support workshop operations.

The role requires at least 5 years of relevant experience, strong diesel engine knowledge, and the ability to work independently and safely in a team environment, with a focus on quality and reliability.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in diesel vehicle maintenance and repair.
• Strong knowledge of diesel engine servicing, repair, and troubleshooting.
• Able to perform vehicle inspections and basic fault diagnosis independently.
• Proficient in the use of computerized diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Willing to support production or workshop operations when vehicle repair work is unavailable.
• Good teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Responsible, safety-conscious, and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, servicing, troubleshooting, and repair of diesel-powered vehicles.
