AGCO Corporation is seeking an engineer to support field activities for combines, performing basic decisions and hands-on tasks. You will train operators, prepare machines for transport, and contribute to product validation in field environments.

The role requires experience with combine operation, problem-solving (8D) and Six Sigma, plus strong communication with field technicians and cross-site teams. Safety and reliability are emphasized across duties.

Qualificações

• Experience with Combine development and/or Validation.
• Familiar with field environment and combine operation (driving, settings, configuration).
• Proficient in problem-solving methodologies including 8D and Six Sigma.
• Comfortable working across field sites and with field technicians.

Responsabilidades

• Plan field activities, make basic decisions independently, and execute hands-on tasks.
• Support product development initiatives and document as per PL Engineer expectations.
• Contribute to root cause analysis and containment actions for field issues.
• Provide clear communication to field technicians and participate in cross-site meetings.

Responsibilities:

• Plan field activities, take basic decisions independently and execute hands‑on tasks effectively. This includes machine preparation for transport, daily maintenance, pre‑settings, updates, operating combines/tractors and providing basic training to new operators.
• Support product development initiatives and ensure proper documentation in line with PL Engineer expectations. Contribute to root cause analysis of field issues and proactively suggest appropriate containment actions.
• Provide clear and structured communication to field technicians, defining actions during critical activities. Actively participate in local and global meetings related to Combines and Headers, ensuring alignment across teams.
• Strictly adhere to safety standards and actively contribute to the development and improvement of methods to ensure field procedures are robust, reliable and safe.
• Foster positive working relationships with teammates and partners across different sites, maintaining effective communication and promoting a collaborative team environment.

What you need:

• Mechanical Engineer, Mechatronic Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Agricultural Engineer.
• Experience with Combine development and/or Validation. Technical knowledge to identify root causes and resolve issues.
• Be familiar with field environment and combine operation (driving, settings, configuration, general maintenance and transport).
• Problem solving methodology (8 disciplines).
• 6 Sigma methodology.
• Product validation and experience with agricultural machinery.
