DiDi Global Inc. is building the back office for 99Pay’s treasury. This role focuses on daily reconciliation of payments and credit products, investigating discrepancies, and maintaining accurate transactional records across internal systems and settlements.

• 2+ years of experience in reconciliation, back office, treasury or accounting.
• Strong Excel skills and basic knowledge of accounting entries.
• Familiar with Brazilian payment system (Pix, boleto, cards).
• Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, economics or related area, completed or in progress.
• Advanced English for reading, writing and meetings with international teams.

Responsabilidades

• Execute daily reconciliations in settlement accounts, internal systems and accounting records for one or more of 99Pay's payment and credit products.
• Investigate pending and mismatched transactions, identify root causes and adjust to close cases by deadlines.
• Monitor transactions and finance operational KPIs, raise alerts when anomalies occur.
• Handle user and partner cases related to back office processes, such as refunds and blocked accounts to optimize user experience.
• Configure back-office structures to support products, including internal accounts and transaction codes.
• Support Central Bank reports, internal controls evidence and audit requests with timely data.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to automate manual tasks in reconciliation platforms and pre-launch reconciliations for new products.
• Document procedures and SOPs to ensure continuity and backups.
• Suggest improvements to increase efficiency and reduce operational risk.

99Pay moves a large volume of payments every day for users, drivers, restaurants and merchants of the 99 ecosystem. This position is part of the back office of the Customer Fund Management team, 99Pay's treasury, in the reconciliation and operations group. The group is responsible for the daily transactional reconciliation of 99Pay's payment and credit products: matching every transaction (Pix, boleto, cards, transfers and wallet movements on the payment side; loan disbursements, repayments and renegotiations on the credit side) between internal systems, settlement accounts and accounting records, investigating and solving mismatches, and keeping the evidence that supports internal controls and audits. The team works closely with product, engineering, accounting and customer experience in Brazil and abroad to fix root causes, automate manual work on the reconciliation platform and support the launch of new products. You will take ownership of one of these fronts and support the others as the operation grows.

In this role, you'll be...

• Executing daily reconciliations in settlement accounts, internal systems and accounting records, for one or more of 99Pay's payment and credit products.
• Investigating pending and mismatched transactions, finding the root cause and making the adjustments needed to close each case within the agreed deadlines.
• Monitoring transactions and finance operational KPIs, and raising alerts when something is off.
• Handling user and partner cases that depend on the back office, such as refunds, payments sent in error and blocked or closed accounts, to give users the best possible experience.
• Configuring the back-office structure that supports the products: internal accounts, transaction codes and operational flows.
• Supporting Central Bank reports, internal controls evidence and audit requests with accurate and timely data.
• Working with product and engineering teams to automate manual tasks on the reconciliation platforms and to prepare the reconciliation of new products before launch.
• Documenting procedures and SOPs so that every routine has a backup.
• Suggesting improvements that increase efficiency and reduce operational risk.
