Caterpillar Inc. in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, is seeking a training expert to lead the development and delivery of courses for dealers and customer-facing employees.

You will design modules, measure training ROI, and ensure materials comply with policies while collaborating with business partners.

The role requires up to 40% global travel and work onsite five days a week, with benefits including health and pension plans.

Qualificações

  • Bachelor’s degree is required.
  • Pre Advanced English.
  • Demonstrated technology training experience (classroom, dealer and customer facing).
  • Knowledge of, and operating skill in, MineStar technologies and their applications.
  • Background in mining operations or mining engineering.

Responsabilidades

  • Gather customer service performance data to measure success of training programs; monitor ROIs and improve training effectiveness.

Role Definition:

Acts as training expert. Leads the develops and delivers training programs for dealers and customer facing employees to maintain and improve their job skills; consulting business units and dealers on training needs.

What will you do:
  • Provide expertise in developing and delivering training modules, courses and programs; ensuring that courses and materials are relevant to the organization’s customer service processes.
  • Gathering customer service performance data to measure success of the training programs; monitoring ROIs and taking appropriate measures to improve training effectiveness.
  • Reviewing and maintaining training materials to ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
  • Analyzing new training methods, tools and content options to determine the feasibility of use and application in future customer service training programs.
  • Consulting business partners on training requirements.
  • Executes accreditation processes for training programs.
Skills:
  • Consulting: Knowledge of techniques, roles, and responsibilities in providing technical or business guidance to clients, both internal and external; ability to apply consulting knowledge appropriately.
  • Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.
  • Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.
  • Relationship Management: Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers.
  • Training Operations: Knowledge of training processes and procedures; ability to implement training related tasks and programs to ensure smooth daily and strategic training operations.
Basic requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Pre Advanced English
  • Demonstrated technology training experience (classroom, dealer and customer facing); prior related training roles
  • Knowledge of, and operating skill in, technology products software and their applications.
  • Hands-on experience with MineStar technologies.
  • Background in mining operations or mining engineering.
Top Candidates will also have:
  • Spanish is highly desirable
Additional Information:
  • This position requires up to 40% global travel.
  • Travel may require working on remote mine sites.

Note: This position requires the candidate to work onsite five days a week.
