Caterpillar is seeking a Product Catalog Owner to shape how customers discover parts and products across our digital channels. The role is based onsite in São Paulo, Brazil, with daily interaction across global teams and stakeholders.

You will own taxonomy, attributes, and fitment data while collaborating with Engineering and Product teams to deliver scalable catalog solutions. Advanced English is required.

Qualificações

• Experience in Product Management, Business Analysis, PIM, eCommerce, or similar data-driven roles.
• Experience with product catalogs, taxonomy, structured data, or information architecture.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and scalable solutions.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working across business and technology teams.
• Languages: Advanced English.

Responsabilidades

• Own the product taxonomy, category structure, attributes, and fitment data.
• Improve product discoverability through catalog organization, filtering, and search experiences.
• Analyze catalog performance and customer search behavior to identify improvements.
• Prioritize catalog enhancements based on customer impact and business value.
• Define business rules for search, synonyms, redirects, and merchandising.
• Partner with Engineering and Product teams to develop scalable catalog solutions.
• Collaborate with technical experts to ensure product information is complete and accurate.
• Establish governance processes and standards to maintain catalog quality.

This position is based onsite in São Paulo, Brazil, requiring presence in the office five days per week, and reports to a global leader outside of Brazil, requiring regular interaction with international teams and stakeholders.

What you will do

• Own the product taxonomy, category structure, attributes, and fitment data
• Improve product discoverability through better catalog organization, filtering, and search experiences
• Analyze catalog performance and customer search behavior to identify improvement opportunities
• Prioritize catalog enhancements based on customer impact and business value
• Define business rules for search, synonyms, redirects, and merchandising capabilities
• Partner with Engineering and Product teams to develop scalable catalog and product data solutions
• Collaborate with technical experts to ensure product information is complete, accurate, and customer-friendly
• Establish governance processes and standards to maintain catalog quality

• Increased use of filters, categories, and self-service navigation
• Improved quality and completeness of product information
• Reduced zero-result searches and product discovery issues

What you bring

Education: Bachelor's degree

• Experience: Previous experience in Product Management, Business Analysis, Product Information Management (PIM), eCommerce, or similar data-driven roles
• Experience working with product catalogs, taxonomy, structured data, or information architecture
• Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and scalable solutions
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
• Experience working across business and technology teams
• Languages: Advanced English
