Tata Consultancy Services Brazil is seeking a Test Automation Engineer to drive QA initiatives and build robust automated and manual test suites. The role requires collaboration with Product Owners, Developers, and Stakeholders to ensure comprehensive test coverage and quality metrics.

You will work with Robot Framework, Selenium, and Playwright, and contribute to data pipeline testing, API checks, and data quality validation.

Qualificações

• Experience with Robot Framework, Selenium, Playwright, and API testing.
• Data Pipelines: Experience validating ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Data Processing: Familiarity with Python-based processing or Spark concepts.

Responsabilidades

• Lead QA initiatives for one or more projects, including planning, execution, and reporting.
• Develop, maintain, and execute automated and manual test scripts in Java and Python.
• Mentor junior QA team members and foster a collaborative environment.
• Analyze testing results and communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Participate in Scrum ceremonies and provide testing progress insights.
• Identify scenarios suitable for automation and improve testing efficiency.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Developers, and Stakeholders for full coverage.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues for quick resolution and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead QA initiatives for one or more projects, including planning, execution, and reporting.
• Develop, maintain, and execute automated and manual test scripts, leveraging tools such as Robot Framework, Selenium and API testing frameworks.
• Mentor and guide junior QA team members, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
• Analyze testing results, identify issues, and communicate findings effectively to stakeholders.
• Participate actively in Scrum ceremonies, providing insights on testing progress and quality metrics.
• Identify scenarios suitable for automation, optimize testing strategies, and improve testing efficiency.
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Developers, and Stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues, ensuring quick resolution and continuous improvement.
• Stay updated on industry best practices, testing tools, and methodologies.
• Technical Skills & Knowledge:
• Testing Strategies: Expertise in functional, integration, unit, regression, and exploratory testing.
• Automation & Scripting: Proficient in Java and Python;

Skills Required

• Experience with Robot Framework, Selenium, Playwright, and API testing.
• Data Pipelines: Experience validating and testing ETL/ELT pipelines, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and reliability.
• Data Processing: Familiarity with data transformation tools and frameworks (e.g., Python-based processing, Spark concepts, or equivalent).
• Data Quality: Ability to define and implement data quality checks, reconciliation rules, and monitoring anomalies.
• APIs & Integration: Experience testing data integrations, APIs, and downstream consumers (dashboards, reports, or analytics use cases).
• Databases: Strong understanding of SQL and experience working with relational and/or cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, or similar).
