Tata Consultancy Services seeks a Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines and ETL processes in a dynamic, innovation-driven environment.

You will collaborate with data scientists and analysts, ensuring data governance and security across Azure-based data platforms while mentoring junior engineers.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience designing and implementing scalable ETL pipelines.
• Experience with Azure Data Factory and data storage solutions.
• Strong SQL skills (PL/SQL, T-SQL) and data modeling knowledge.
• Familiarity with data governance, security, and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes
• Build and optimize data storage solutions (Data Lake, SQL Database, Delta Lake)
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders
• Ensure data security, governance, and compliance
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data workflows for performance and cost
• Automate data integration and transformation using Azure tools and Python
• Integrate diverse data sources to support analytics and AI initiatives
• Support advanced analytics and AI-driven applications
• Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices

Skills Required

• Strong experience in ETL design, development, and optimization
• Advanced SQL programming (PL/SQL, T-SQL)
• Experience in Enterprise Data & Analytics architecture
• Strong experience with Azure ecosystem (Azure Data Factory, Data Lake, Databricks, SQL Database, Cosmos DB, etc.)
• Experience building scalable data pipelines and data warehousing solutions
• Experience with Python programming
• Strong knowledge of data modeling and data architecture
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases
• Knowledge of data security, governance, and compliance (RBAC, encryption, auditing)
• Experience monitoring and optimizing data workflows
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams (data scientists, analysts, stakeholders)
• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices
• Knowledge of infrastructure as code
• Experience with Master Data Management (MDM) and Data Quality tools
• Experience with AI/ML solutions and data platforms
• Familiarity with stream processing systems (Event Hubs, Spark Streaming, Storm)
• Experience with API integrations (RESTful, SOAP)
• Experience working in Agile environments (Jira, Azure DevOps)

Experience in Life Sciences or Biotechnology industry
