Job summary

Volvo Group Brazil is seeking a SAP ABAP consultant to join the Master Finance application team. You will work within Group IT Digital Corporate, supporting the General Accounting solution center and collaborating with global teams on SAP ECC/S4HANA developments.

Responsibilities include ABAP development, enhancements, interfaces, and debugging, with a focus on performance tuning and Adobe Forms/workflow. English proficiency is required.

Qualifications

• Strong SAP ABAP on ECC & S4HANA knowledge.
• Experience with Rest APIs and data streaming.
• ABAP enhancements, proxies, RFC, IDOC, and debugging.
• Performance tuning and Adobe Forms/workflow knowledge.
• Fluent English communication is required.

Digital Corporate is a new function within DTO with a big stake in the Group’s digital transformation. We will modernize Volvo’s core digital backbone making it a platform for digital products. Our Foundational IT products are used by digital product teams and enable them and their products to outperform Volvo’s competitors. Our digital talents develop capabilities and digital technologies to improve business performance and create value for the Group with speed and at scale.

ROLE DESCRIPTION

We are now looking for a SAP ABAP consultant to be part of Master Finance application team.

Who are you?

• Experience in ABAP on ECC & HANA developments.
• Work closely together with functional consultants and business Key Users.
• Support Key users / functional consultants on day-to day issues.
• Work on continuous improvements / enhancements and innovation ideas.
• Meet established KPI's set by the Digital Product Owner for the Product teams.
• Manage new developments and maintain the existing SAP Solution.
• Well Equipped working in Agile ways and part of Stable teams Setup.
• Taking complete ownership of deliverables and work independently within Stable team Framework.

Requirements:

Technical Skills:

• Strong technical knowledge in SAP ABAP on ECC & S4HANA platform.
• Strong experience in Rest APIs, Data streaming, BTP .
• Strong technical expertise in core ABAP -DDIC, Reports, Interactive Reporting, User Exits, BAdis, Enhancements Framework, Interface, RFC, BDC, BAPI, Debugging, Performance Tuning, Interface.
• Strong working experience in ABAP enhancements, ABAP Proxies, RFC, IDOC, CXML, ALE configuration, Partner profiles, Ports, Enhancements, error processing, troubleshooting.
• Good strong knowledge in performance tuning.
• Knowledge or expertise of Adobe Forms
• Knowledge or expertise of Workflow
• Perform bug/fix analysis and recommend solutions for various business processes.
• Should have very good analytical and communication skills.
• Shall be able to work independently and collaboratively with teams across shores.
• Stay up to date with new SAP versions and direction for S4HANA.
• Good to have experience in Solution Manager, Service Now

Other requirements:

• Good expertise in working with and leading teams when required
• Establish guidelines and work instructions when applicable.
• Relevant university degree
• Excellent communication & presentation skills are a requirement
• Proficiency in English is a requirement
