Job summary

Volvo Group Brasil is seeking a SAP FICO consultant to join the General Accounting solution centre within the Financial, Planning & Consolidation area. You will contribute to master finance applications and work in a global, collaborative team.

The role requires hands-on SAP FICO experience, knowledge of FI-Banking, DMEE and interfaces, and fluency in English. You will lead small teams when required and help define specifications and cutover activities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in SAP FICO modules.
• Hands-on maintenance and support project experience.
• Knowledge of FI-Banking, EBS, and DMEE structures.
• Understanding of core business cycles (P2P, O2C, R2R).
• Experience with period-end closing processes.
• Experience with batch jobs, interfaces, Idocs, and RFC.

Responsibilities

• Be part of the General Accounting solution center within Finance, Planning & Consolidation.
• Deliver maintenance and support for SAP FICO deployments.
• Draft specifications and contribute to functional design.
• Support cutover activities for enhancements and deployments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity.

This will be us - your new colleagues within Digital Corporate, Financial, Planning & Consolidation, Global Accounting Systems.

Digital Corporate is a new function within DTO with a big stake in the Group’s digital transformation. We will modernize Volvo’s core digital backbone making it a platform for digital products. Our Foundational IT products are used by digital product teams and enable them and their products to outperform Volvo’s competitors. Our digital talents develop capabilities and digital technologies to improve business performance and create value for the Group with speed and at scale.

In this position you will be part of the General Accounting solution centre in the Financial, Planning & Consolidation.

We are now looking for a SAP FICO consultant to be part of Master Finance application team.

What you will do

In this position you will be part of the General Accounting solution center in the Finance, Planning & Consolidation.

• Proven Experience in SAP FICO modules
• Hands on in Maintenance and support projects
• Experience in Validations and Substitutions.
• Expertise in FI-Banking module, EBS and DMEE Structure setup.
• Good understanding of Business cycles (P2P, O2C, R2R).
• Have worked on Period End Closure as part of Support team.
• Skilled to identify the Cutover activities for any enhancement.
• Experience in drafting Specifications
• End User Experience in SOLMAN
• Basic ABAP knowledge
• Experience in LSMW/BDC
• Desirable experience with FI-AA and COPA
• Knowledge on Batch Jobs
• Knowledge on Interfaces, Idocs and RFC connections.
• Knowledge on RICEFW objects.
• Good Functional resource having exposure in at least two Landscapes

Other requirements:

• Good expertise in working with and leading teams when required
• Establish guidelines and work instructions when applicable.
• Relevant university degree
• Excellent communication & presentation skills are a requirement
• Complete proficiency in English is a requirement
