Qualificações

CHC Navigation is a global provider of innovative GNSS navigation and positioning solutions covering a wide range of professional applications, including land and airborne surveys, conventional GNSS surveys, 3D mass data acquisition, precision farming, unmanned navigation and robotics, real-time GNSS infrastructure, and more.

CHC Navigation is looking for a results-oriented Technical Support Engineer to join its LATAM team and take advantage of a significant growth opportunity in a rapidly expanding company. In this technical and hands-on role, you will ensure that our partners, resellers and clients are successfully trained in demonstrating, installing, and using our agriculture machinery. In addition, you will also be responsible for answering all technical questions and providing solutions in close communication with our worldwide Product Managers.

About the role

  • Ensure the successful onboarding of new partners from both a hardware and software perspective.
  • Provide timely technical support and training on product needs and issues via email, phone, web conference and in person.
  • Develop and manage the relationship with resellers and clients, being responsible for their product updates and technical requests.
  • Perform problem analysis to resolve product related issues including follow-up, testing, troubleshooting and identifying bugs and possible enhancements.
  • Support sales functions as a technical expert/consultant for precision agriculture.
  • Develop and update training materials.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Agricultural Engineering, Geomatics, Precision Agriculture, Agricultural Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of effective experience in customer service/technical support or technical training in agriculture machinery, positioning/navigation, LiDAR mapping, unmanned surveying, construction engineering, GIS, land surveying...
  • Fluency in Portuguese and professional level of English – written and oral – are mandatory.
  • Possess strong problem-solving skills and excellent analytical skills.
  • Presentation and public speaking skills, including training and technical demonstrations.
  • Comfort with learning new computer applications.

Note: To be considered for this position, candidates must be Brazil citizens, and already living and eligible to work in Brazil.

Travel Requirements

There are some travels required in this role - including travel to a business partner or customer locations, trade shows, visit strategic accounts, other regional trips to support CHCNAV LATAM team.
