Your mission

Odds Scanner is looking for a Technical SEO Specialist to join our remote full-time team focused on the sports betting industry.

The regulated sports betting market is one of the fastest-growing industries, and we want you to help us establish our presence in this exciting field.

In this role, you will conduct experiments and test different strategies. Not all will succeed, but we value willingness to learn, comfort with the unknown, and ability to execute on short, medium, and long-term goals.

Responsibilities

• Execute advanced website audits to identify technical issues and opportunities;
• Collaborate with project owners and developers to resolve technical issues affecting organic search (e.g., crawlability, indexability, site architecture, pagespeed, CWV, responsiveness, structured data, canonicalization);
• Organize and prioritize website fixes with the team lead;
• Develop performance and operational reports for strategic decisions;
• Experiment with new technical SEO tactics and tools;
• Assist in developing training assets as needed.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of technical SEO experience;
• Proficiency with SEO tools (e.g., Search Console, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Sitebulb, Oncrawl);
• Ability to navigate WordPress dashboard and implement simple changes;
• Strong communication and collaboration skills;
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously;
• Experience with agile methodologies is a plus;
• Proficiency in reading code (JavaScript, PHP, HTML, CSS) is a plus;
• Native in Brazilian Portuguese and proficient in English;
• Independent worker eager to learn.
