Job Duties
  1. Gain and utilize expertise in specific aspects of a PSL's technology and services portfolio to educate customers, operations, and business development (BD) on features, advantages, and benefits of the PSL solution offerings.
  2. Under broad direction, the Technical Sales Advisor is accountable for delivery execution, pursuing excellence in daily activities, and identifying customer technical needs through product knowledge and geographic understanding of challenges.
  3. Assist the BD organization in pursuing work via customer interactions and workshops, provide technical recommendations for proposals, and aid in diagnosing and communicating solution delivery issues.
  4. Help establish strategic direction by understanding local customer business drivers and technical challenges, and identify up-sell strategies within the geographic area.
  5. Maintain awareness of the external market and company marketing strategies, collaborating with PSL, region/country teams, and other stakeholders to identify growth opportunities.
  6. Provide input on technology project priorities based on market understanding, customer needs, and technology gaps.
  7. Execute tactical plans set by country management, ensuring all operations comply with HSE and OE policies and best practices.
  8. Utilize project management skills and tools to organize and execute project assignments.
  9. Provide guidance to less experienced staff and contribute to the viability and service quality of revenue centers.
  10. Possess a thorough understanding of supported sub-PSL technology and broad knowledge of development tools.
  11. Promote PSL quality directives and ensure consistent operational practices.
  12. Minimum of a bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline, with at least 7 years of experience in the energy services industry, including 5 years as a field professional.
