Continental in São Paulo, Brazil, is seeking a technically skilled field engineer to support the sales team and service network across South America. The role combines hands-on vehicle systems knowledge with customer training and on-site field work.

You will conduct in-person and online trainings, analyze faults on belts and transmission systems, visit workshops and fleet operators, and contribute to new product development with the product team.

Qualificações

• Technical degree or higher in Automotive fields.
• Experience with belts, air springs or transmission systems is a plus.
• Knowledge of commercial vehicle mechanics.
• Good verbal and written communication for training.
• Ability to work in the field and travel.
• Spanish will be considered a plus.
• Intermediate Office package and presentation tools.

Responsabilidades

• Providing technical support to the sales team, distributors and the service network (workshops and fleet owners).
• Carry out face-to-face and online technical training on products, applications and best practices.
• Carry out field visits to analyze faults, provide technical guidance and support representatives in other states.
• Supporting the legal sector with technical analysis and records of negotiations, whenever necessary in legal actions.
• Collecting field data and insights to support the development of new products together with the product development team.
• Providing technical support to the export area, serving clients in South American countries.
• Monitoring and recording customer service via the system, preparing reports and contributing to continuous improvement.

Requirements:

• Technical degree or higher in Automotive Mechanics, Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering or related areas.
• Experience with belts, air springs or transmission systems is a plus.
• Knowledge of commercial vehicle mechanics (light or heavy line).
• Good verbal and written communication skills for training and technical interactions with customers.
• Ability to work in the field and in a variety of environments (workshops, automotive centers, fleet operators, technical events).
• Willing to travel
• Intermediate Office package and knowledge of presentation tools.
• Spanish will be considered a plus.
