Manpower Malta is recruiting a Technical Operations Engineer to support day-to-day technical and operational activities, combining office-based coordination with regular international travel to worksites, suppliers, clients, shipyards and vessels.

The role may be based in Malta or Italy, with travel and flexibility essential to cover multiple projects and stakeholder needs.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate technical support activities, operational interventions and deployment of technicians to different worksites.
• Review incoming orders, identify technical and operational requirements, and track project specifications through completion.
• Support the planning, development and coordination of technical projects, ensuring activities progress according to requirements.
• Define and verify technical specifications for purchase orders and support procurement with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Respond to technical enquiries and urgent operational issues while ensuring effective communication between all parties involved.

Manpower Malta is seeking to recruit a Technical Operations Engineer to join our client's team.

The successful candidate will support the day-to-day technical and operational activities of the business, combining office-based coordination with regular international travel to worksites, suppliers, clients, shipyards and vessels. This position is suitable for a technically skilled and well-organised professional who can coordinate multiple projects, respond to operational requirements and work effectively with technicians, customers, suppliers and other stakeholders. The role may be based in Malta or Italy, depending on the candidate's preference, although regular travel and flexibility are essential.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate technical support activities, operational interventions and the deployment of technicians to different worksites.
• Review incoming orders, identify technical and operational requirements, and track project specifications through completion.
• Support the planning, development and coordination of technical projects, ensuring activities progress according to agreed requirements.
• Define and verify technical specifications for purchase orders and support procurement activities with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Respond to technical enquiries and urgent operational issues while ensuring effective communication between all parties involved.

Key Requirements:

• Degree in Engineering or another relevant technical discipline.
• Strong technical understanding combined with good organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple technical activities, projects, priorities and stakeholders.
• Strong communication skills and confidence when dealing with technicians, customers and suppliers.
• Willingness and availability to travel regularly to international worksites, suppliers, shipyards and vessels.

Job Info:

• Type of Contract: 1 year definite and than Indefinite - Fulltime
• Annual Gross Salary: Depending on experience
