Job summary

Powstar Controls Pte Ltd is seeking an engineer to perform preventive and corrective maintenance of Building Management and Energy Management Systems in a dynamic environment in Brazil. You will develop design specifications, write documentation, and manage changes across hardware and software for PLC/SCADA projects.

The role involves site testing and commissioning with clients, interface design between third-party systems, and occasional weekend or night work as needed.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering (Electrical/ Electronics/ Automation / Building Technology).
• Experience interfacing design, implementation and testing between third-party systems using Modbus, BACNet or other protocols will be an advantage.
• 2 years' working experience in building ACMV systems / PLC related experience.
• Must have Mitsubishi PLC programming experience.
• Knowledge of SCADA (Niagara N4 or Mitsubishi MC Works) is an advantage.
• Have worked with Building Management System/SCADA/HVAC system is an advantage.
• A resourceful individual with good organization, time management and problem-solving skills.
• A team player and at the same time able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to work during weekends or night jobs occasionally when required.
