Amazon Servicos de Varejo do Brasil Ltda. is seeking a Senior Program Manager for Payment Integrity to lead fraud prevention in BR and LATAM. You will own strategy, roadmap, and team, protecting customers and the business from fraud and bad debt.
You will guide cross-functional partners in engineering, risk, compliance, and finance, drive measurable CoBW improvements, and extend prevention to new products like Amazon Credito.
Lead the fight against fraud and abuse across Amazon's Payments business in Latam. As Senior Program Manager for Payment Integrity, you'll own the strategy, roadmap, and team that protect millions of customers — and the business — from fraud, abuse, and bad debt across BR and LATAM.
You will act as the single-threaded owner for payment integrity in the region, leading a team of program and product managers and owning an ambitious Cost of Business Waste (CoBW) reduction target. You'll stay ahead of a fast-moving fraud and abuse landscape, translate it into a clear multi-year roadmap, extend proven prevention mechanisms to new financial products such as Amazon Credito, and partner deeply with engineering, risk, compliance, and finance teams. If you are energized by ambiguous, high-stakes problems where the mechanisms you build directly protect customers and the business, this role is for you.
No two days look the same. You might start by reviewing the latest fraud metrics with your team, deciding where to double down and where to cut losses. Mid‑morning, you pressure-test the design of a new abuse‑prevention mechanism with engineering before it goes to build. In the afternoon, you align with Product and Risk on how a new product launch changes our fraud exposure and what coverage we need. You close by refining the roadmap and preparing a crisp update for leadership on progress against our CoBW target — moving fluidly between deep strategy and hands‑on execution.
Amazon LATAM Payments Trust builds the compliance, identity, and fraud & abuse prevention mechanisms that create trust in payment transactions — letting millions of customers transact safely and enabling Amazon to scale new products in a dynamic payments markets. We own this end‑to‑end across the region, from setting strategy to shipping the mechanisms that run in production.
We are a small, senior, high‑trust team with a lot of ownership and a strong bias for action. We think in mechanisms, not one-offs; we ground decisions in data; and we care about building things that last and replicate across markets.
Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
