The role encompasses managing procurement data, supporting negotiations, and ensuring compliance with quality and sustainability standards. The Plant Procurement Analyst supports the direct materials supply strategy for Tallow and other materials under her/his responsibility, ensuring compliance with local, divisional, and global policies to meet Colgate's Total Cost, Quality, and Service & Sustainability expectations. The role also involves supporting the Procurement integration team in a dotted line and the Contract manufacturing strategy for Brazil.
Position Scope:
The Plant Procurement Operations Analyst manages plant procurement data in SAP, tracks KPIs, and ensures timely transactional operations to support procurement activities and risk management. They provide data analysis and reporting, along with tracking functional KPIs.
The analyst supports the Plant Procurement team in managing budgets and prices within the system as part of the LATAM procurement integration team (PIT), resolving pricing and payment issues. They also actively support FTG initiatives and analyses.
The role involves supporting or leading negotiations of supply/service agreements with Contract Manufacturers and Tallow suppliers, and resolving service and quality issues for the plant.
The analyst maintains ongoing relationships with external manufacturers and tallow suppliers and executes market analysis based on market dynamics and fundamentals.
