Qualifications

• Experience in IT Operations, NOC, Service Management, or Major Incident Management.
• Proven ability to manage high-impact production incidents in enterprise environments.
• Strong analytical, stakeholder communication, and coordination skills.
• Bachelor's degree preferred with relevant professional experience.
• Familiarity with cloud/on-prem environments, monitoring tools, and ITSM platforms.
• Knowledge of ITIL, COBIT, Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen.

• Coordinate server, network, and application patching, security updates, and capacity planning.

• Collaborate with software vendors and implementation partners to ensure successful delivery.

You will work closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external partners to translate operational requirements into scalable solutions while ensuring service stability, operational resilience, and business continuity. The role includes supporting and coordinating critical operational processes such as major incident management, service monitoring, problem management, outage resolution, and continuous service improvement initiatives.

• Drive continuous improvement through industry best practices, automation initiatives, and support for user acceptance testing.

• Proven experience managing high-impact production incidents within global, enterprise-scale environments.
• Strong analytical problem-solving, stakeholder communication, and project coordination abilities.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred and a relevant professional experience.
• Deep familiarity with cloud/on-premise environments (servers, networks, databases), monitoring tools, and ITSM platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira Service Management).
• Experience implementing and supporting complex business systems and technology solutions.
• Knowledge of business analysis, requirements gathering, system design, testing methodologies, and software development lifecycle processes.
• Familiarity with ITIL, COBIT, Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or other process improvement frameworks.

Additional Information

• Location: São José dos Campos/SP
• Hybrid On-Site Work Environment (living at São José dos Campos) or 100% Remote (living far from of São José dos Campos region): This position requires regular in-person engagement by working on-site for three (3) days per work week (with core collaboration days of Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday) or remote from the location of the candidate. Remote work may also be considered, depending on the candidate’s distance from the Ball office.
