Drive Growth in Amazon's Consumer Electronics Category
Amazon is seeking a Senior Category Merchant Manager to drive growth of our Electronics category within the Brazilian marketplace. This role will focus on developing strategies to grow key categories including Wireless, PC, Home Entertainment, Video Games, Camera, among others.
About the Role:
As Senior Category Merchant Manager, you will be crucial in expanding the category in Amazon's Brazilian marketplace. Your analytical skills and project management experience will be essential in identifying growth opportunities and optimizing seller performance within this diverse category. You will support identifying and driving actions towards growing selection and improving pricing, helping sellers become successful by improving the customer experience.
Key job responsibilities
Your challenge:
- Develop and implement strategies to grow the category
- Analyze category performance within the marketplace and identify areas for improvement
- Manage projects to enhance seller operations and category efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new solutions for the category
- Prepare and present category business reviews to leadership
- Monitor, analyze, and improve seller performance metrics within the category
- Utilize data-driven insights to inform decision-making for the category
- 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- 7+ years of developing and managing acquisition marketing or channel programs experience
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
- Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
- Experience developing and executing campaigns across a multitude of timezones and languages
- Experience driving direction and alignment with large cross-functional teams and agency partners
- Experience designing and executing joint marketing plans with strategic alliance partners with global footprint
