Job Title:
Sr. Analyst, People Analytics
Overview:
The Sr. Analyst, People Analytics will be a member of the Global People Operations and Insights team, which provides data, analytics, operational, and strategic decision support across multiple business units and regions within Mastercard.
This individual will bring experience in analytics, project management, and agile methodologies to enable data-driven decisions about talent at Mastercard. Ideal candidates will be detail-oriented, execution-focused, and skilled at identifying opportunities to introduce consistency and scale to analytical outputs within a matrixed organization.
Role:
- Partner closely with Senior Data Analysts within the broader People Operations and Insights team to identify opportunities for scalable reporting solutions and visualizations.
- Develop Tableau/PowerBI dashboards and reports that follow visualization best practices and effectively communicate a story.
- Participate in drafting documents and presentations to communicate innovations, ideas, or discoveries.
- Contribute to building a motivated, innovative, and productive team that creates next-generation analytics for Mastercard.
- Generate and implement ideas to continuously improve analytics and reporting services.
- Understand the underlying query or challenge behind data requests, beyond the surface ask.
- Collaborate with Data Management and HR Systems teams to validate and ensure the integrity of people data.
- Manage project responsibilities and seek guidance from senior team members to oversee the work with the Technology team at Mastercard.
- Exercise exceptional judgment and discretion when handling highly sensitive people data.
- Bring experience with agile methodologies, preferably Jira.

- Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques and machine learning.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Analytics, Computer Science, Business, Psychology, Management, or a related field.
