Hedgepoint Group in São Paulo seeks an accounting professional to support the accounting team in overseeing financial accounting and reporting processes, participating in closing, preparing statements, and collaborating with Tax and Audit.

The role requires degree in accounting, experience with accounting routines, MS Office and ERP, IFRS/US GAAP knowledge, fluent English, and a proactive, organized, team-oriented mindset.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting and relevant experience.
• Experience performing monthly/annual closings and preparing financial statements.
• Strong MS Office skills and familiarity with ERP systems.
• Knowledge of IFRS/US GAAP preferred.
• Fluent English required.
• Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Team player with proactive attitude.

Purpose of Position

This position will be responsible for supporting the Accounting team to oversee all parts of our financial accounting and reporting functions within Finance.

Main Responsibilities

• Participate in monthly and annual accounting closing processes.
• Elaborate monthly balancesheets and financial statements.
• Collaborate with related departments, such as Tax, Internal Control, and Auditing, by providing accounting information and support.
• Support regulatory reporting activities.
• Work with onshore and offshore accounting rules (IFRS and US GAAP).

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Degree in Accounting.
• Previous experience in accounting routines.
• MS Office skills and familiarity with ERP systems.
• Knowledge of accounting rules and standards.
• Fluent English.
• Organization, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

Location

Vila Olimpia, SP — Up to twice a week at the base office.
