Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Lead Procurement Analyst in Rio de Janeiro area to procure goods, materials, and services for our operations with a focus on cost, quality, and on-time delivery.

You will leverage strategic sourcing, supplier management, and rigorous negotiation to drive savings and align purchasing with safety and efficiency standards while collaborating with Engineering, Operations, and Quality teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering, or related field.
• Experience in industrial or manufacturing procurement; oil & gas or energy sector preferred.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and procurement analytics.

Responsibilities

• Lead sourcing and procurement activities for assigned categories, including engineered components, machined parts, equipment, and indirect materials.
• Develop and manage supplier relationships to ensure optimal performance, compliance, and continuous improvement.
• Analyze spend data, market trends, and supplier performance to identify cost reduction and deflation opportunities.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to secure best-value agreements while maintaining high quality and delivery standards.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, and Quality to align technical and commercial requirements.
• Execute competitive RFQs, bids, and sourcing projects—supporting global and best-cost-country sourcing initiatives.
• Proactively manage and resolve supplier issues and performance gaps, escalating as needed.
• Maintain accurate SAP records for purchase orders, contracts, and supplier data.
• Ensure all purchasing activities comply with HMH’s Code of Conduct, safety policies, and relevant regulations.

• Fluent in English; additional languages a plus.
