Location: Macaé, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil (Hybrid Work Model). HMH seeks a Senior Project Analyst to plan, monitor, and report on strategic R&D and technology development projects. You’ll ensure on-schedule delivery, budget adherence, and governance compliance.

The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, procurement coordination, and risk management with an emphasis on HSSE and data-driven insights.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial or Mechanical engineering or related field.
• 3+ years in project controls, planning, procurement coordination or related functions.
• Strong knowledge of planning, scheduling, cost control and risk management.
• Advanced Excel skills with dashboards and data analysis.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain integrated project schedules across engineering, procurement, manufacturing and testing.
• Monitor progress, critical paths, risks and dependencies; propose corrective actions.
• Coordinate SAP requisitions, supplier follow-up, delivery tracking and material planning.
• Support cost control, forecasting, accruals and earned value analysis.
• Prepare project reports, dashboards and performance metrics for management.
• Maintain documents, risk logs, action logs and lessons learned.
• Support governance, stage gates, audits and ANP R&D compliance.
• Facilitate cross-functional communication across engineering, supply chain and stakeholders.
• Identify execution risks and help develop mitigation plans.
• Promote HSSE compliance with company policies.

Summary

We are seeking a Senior Project Analyst to support the planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting of strategic Research & Development (R&D) and technology development projects. The ideal candidate has experience in project controls, planning, procurement coordination, cost tracking, and cross-functional collaboration, ensuring projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with governance and regulatory requirements.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain integrated project schedules, coordinating engineering, procurement, manufacturing, testing, and reporting activities.
• Monitor project progress, critical paths, risks, and dependencies, recommending corrective actions when necessary.
• Coordinate procurement activities, including SAP requisitions, supplier follow-up, delivery tracking, and material planning.
• Support project cost control, forecasting, accruals, budget tracking, and earned value analysis.
• Prepare project reports, dashboards, presentations, and performance metrics for management and stakeholders.
• Maintain project documentation, action logs, risk registers, decision logs, and lessons learned records.
• Support governance activities, stage-gate reviews, audits, and compliance with ANP R&D requirements.
• Facilitate communication and coordination across engineering, supply chain, suppliers, and project stakeholders.
• Identify execution risks and support development of mitigation plans.
• Promote personal accountability for Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) by adhering to HMH policies and standards.

Required Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in, project controls, project planning, procurement coordination, engineering projects, technology development, or related functions.
• Skills and Abilities: Strong knowledge of project management fundamentals, including planning, scheduling, cost control, risk management, and stakeholder coordination.
• Advanced Excel skills with experience in Power Query, dashboards, and data analysis.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Project and SAP processes, including PRs, POs, and WBS structures.
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a multidisciplinary environment.
• Advanced English proficiency required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting technology development, engineering, manufacturing, R&D, or innovation projects.
• Familiarity with Technology Readiness Level (TRL) frameworks and ANP R&D regulations is desirable.
