HMH is seeking a Senior Project Analyst to support planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting of strategic R&D and technology development projects in Macaé, Brazil. The role emphasizes project controls, cost tracking, procurement coordination, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure on-time delivery within budget.

The ideal candidate will have a technical engineering background, strong MS Excel/Power Query skills, and experience with SAP processes.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in project controls, planning, procurement coordination, engineering projects, technology development, or related functions.
• Strong knowledge of project management fundamentals; advanced English proficiency required.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain integrated project schedules, coordinating engineering, procurement, manufacturing, testing, and reporting activities.
• Monitor project progress, critical paths, risks, and dependencies, recommending corrective actions when necessary.
• Coordinate procurement activities, including SAP requisitions, supplier follow-up, delivery tracking, and material planning.
• Support project cost control, forecasting, accruals, budget tracking, and earned value analysis.
• Prepare project reports, dashboards, presentations, and performance metrics for management and stakeholders.
• Maintain project documentation, action logs, risk registers, decision logs, and lessons learned records.
• Support governance activities, stage-gate reviews, audits, and compliance with ANP R&D requirements.
• Facilitate communication and coordination across engineering, supply chain, suppliers, and project stakeholders.
• Identify execution risks and support development of mitigation plans.
• Promote personal accountability for Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) by adhering to HMH policies and standards.

Summary

We are seeking a Senior Project Analyst to support the planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting of strategic Research & Development (R&D) and technology development projects. The ideal candidate has experience in project controls, planning, procurement coordination, cost tracking, and cross-functional collaboration, ensuring projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with governance and regulatory requirements.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain integrated project schedules, coordinating engineering, procurement, manufacturing, testing, and reporting activities.
• Monitor project progress, critical paths, risks, and dependencies, recommending corrective actions when necessary.
• Coordinate procurement activities, including SAP requisitions, supplier follow-up, delivery tracking, and material planning.
• Support project cost control, forecasting, accruals, budget tracking, and earned value analysis.
• Prepare project reports, dashboards, presentations, and performance metrics for management and stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

Experience

Minimum 3 years of experience in, project controls, project planning, procurement coordination, engineering projects, technology development, or related functions.

Skills and Abilities

Strong knowledge of project management fundamentals, including planning, scheduling, cost control, risk management, and stakeholder coordination. Advanced Excel skills with experience in Power Query, dashboards, and data analysis. Familiarity with Microsoft Project and SAP processes, including PRs, POs, and WBS structures. Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a multidisciplinary environment. Advanced English proficiency required.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience supporting technology development, engineering, manufacturing, R&D, or innovation projects. Familiarity with Technology Readiness Level (TRL) frameworks and ANP R&D regulations is desirable.
