Job Description

Software Technical Project Lead

Job Title:

You will be part of the Research and Development Software Team in Varginha, a team with a global footprint including international members. You will serve as the technical lead for the development and maintenance of medical devices, specifically in Hospital Patient Monitoring - HPM (currently working with multiparameter monitors and obstetrics).

Your role:

1. Understand and have experience in organizing and leading a high-performing team in Software Product Development.
2. Ensure adherence to all applicable development processes, legal standards, quality metrics, security protocols, and regulatory requirements to maintain compliance and excellence.
3. Contribute to the technical innovation of the product and/or systems, providing insights, technical reviews, and continuous constructive feedback.
4. Stay updated with relevant technology domains, continuously learning and introducing new technical practices and innovations, while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to identify trends and opportunities.

You're the right fit if:

• Bachelor's / Master's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent.
• +5 years of experience in Software Product Development, preferably in the medical industry.
• Previous experience in a technical leadership role, preferably in the medical industry.
• Advanced spoken and written English skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience with Medical Devices Regulations (desirable).

How we work together:

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence at the company's facilities. Field roles are typically performed outside the company's main facilities, often at customers' or suppliers' locations.

This is an office role based in Varginha.
