Jobtailor in São Paulo, Brazil, is seeking a QA/Software Test Engineer to join our agile teams. The role focuses on both functional and non-functional testing, including automation of tests using Selenium, RestAssured and Appium, and API testing for REST and SOAP services.

The ideal candidate will collaborate with developers, Product Owners, and stakeholders to ensure high-quality deliveries, while contributing to QA process improvements and participating in our talent pool selection process.

Qualificações

• Experience with both functional and non-functional testing across multiple testing levels.
• Experience with test automation using Selenium, RestAssured, Appium or similar tools.
• Experience testing REST and SOAP APIs.
• Experience with bug-tracking tools.
• Knowledge of BDD, TDD, and agile testing practices.
• Knowledge of Selenium WebDriver, Appium, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Knowledge of Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#.
• Knowledge of TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber, or Behave.
• Knowledge of Postman, Insomnia, or SoapUI.
• Knowledge of RestAssured, Newman, or HTTPie.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and maintain QA artifacts, including test plans, test scripts, test cases, and test evidence.
• Perform functional testing, including unit, integration, regression, smoke, sanity, and acceptance testing.
• Execute non-functional tests for performance, load, usability, and compatibility.
• Automate tests using Selenium, RestAssured, Appium, or similar tools.
• Test REST and SOAP APIs using tools or code.
• Identify, document, and track defects in bug-tracking tools.
• Work with BDD, TDD, and testing practices in agile teams.
• Collaborate with developers, Product Owners, and stakeholders to ensure high-quality deliveries.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes.
• Join the active Talent Pool and participate in the selection process, including an AI-powered voice interview.
• Confirm availability every 90 days to keep the profile active.

• Experience in the banking, financial services, or insurance sectors is a plus


• Experience with mobile testing using Android Studio or Xcode is a plus


• Experience with ECM platforms such as Documentum or OpenText is a plus


• Intermediate or advanced English proficiency is a plus


• Availability for hybrid or remote work, depending on the position and available regions


• Critical-thinking mindset, ownership, and the ability to communicate defects that are reproducible and can be prioritized
