Job summary

GeorgiaTEK Systems Inc. is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop and deploy high-scale Java applications in Brazil. You will work with Spring Boot, cloud platforms, and microservices, building scalable solutions using GCP and Kubernetes.

You’ll implement CI/CD with Jenkins, Helm, and Terraform, collaborate with global engineering teams, and participate in architecture discussions and roadmaps to drive robust, resilient software delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Core Java and Spring Boot.
• Cloud platforms: GCP, AWS, or Azure.
• Cloud-native application development and microservices architecture.
• GCP SDKs and GKE/Kubernetes.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Helm, and Terraform.

Responsibilities

• UI development experience with Angular and Bootstrap.
• Knowledge of Java/J2EE, SOA, Git/GitHub, SVN, Maven, and Gradle.
• Experience working in Agile environments, including Scrum and XP.
• Familiarity with SQL Server, MySQL, JIRA, and Confluence.
• Automated testing experience with JUnit, Selenium, LoadRunner, or SoapUI.
• Modern JDK experience and cloud certifications are preferred.
