BairesDev is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join our distributed, remote-first engineering team. This role, though connected to Campinas, Sao Paulo, offers freedom to work from anywhere within Brazil.

Design, develop, and scale backend services powering our SaaS platform with Go, Python, Java, or Node.js. Work with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB) in an agile environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of professional backend software development.
• Proficiency in at least one backend language: Go, Python, Java, or Node.js.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and their services.
• Containerization with Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
• Databases: PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB.
• Message queues: Kafka, RabbitMQ.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Jira.
• Strong problem-solving and collaboration in a remote-first setting.
