We are looking for an experienced Full-stack Development Specialist to drive the design and implementation of scalable, high-performance software solutions using Java and modern cloud technologies. In this role, you will serve as a technical authority, shaping architectural decisions and establishing engineering standards across multiple development teams. You will help build resilient distributed systems, optimize infrastructure integrations, and strengthen security, observability, and automated testing practices. Working in a collaborative, innovation-driven environment, you will tackle complex technical challenges and improve the reliability and efficiency of critical systems. You will also mentor developers, promote engineering excellence, and guide teams toward sustainable, cost-effective solutions. This remote opportunity is ideal for a senior technical professional who combines deep software engineering expertise with strategic thinking and a passion for continuous improvement.

Accountabilities:

• Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of scalable Java services, ensuring high performance, reliability, maintainability, and cost efficiency.
• Define and promote technical standards, reusable modules, architectural patterns, and engineering best practices across multiple development teams.
• Design, implement, and monitor robust observability, security, and automated testing solutions for distributed systems.
• Lead organizational code reviews, support the resolution of critical incidents, and evaluate technical proofs of concept (POCs) to validate architectural decisions.
• Mentor and guide developers, encouraging knowledge sharing, technical growth, and consistent adoption of engineering best practices.
• Optimize integrations across complex CI/CD pipelines, databases, messaging systems, and cloud infrastructure to improve operational resilience and efficiency.
• Act as a technical reference for strategic decisions involving API design, software architecture, infrastructure, security, and system monitoring.
• Design and maintain microservices-based applications using modern Java frameworks and containerization technologies.
• Improve system performance through profiling, automated testing, continuous monitoring, and proactive identification of bottlenecks.
• Establish consistent organizational standards for security, reliability, deployment, and observability across engineering projects.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to align technical solutions with business objectives and long-term product strategy.

Requirements:

• Advanced proficiency in Java 11 or later, with hands-on experience using Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and Spring Data.
• Extensive experience designing, developing, and maintaining microservices architectures and distributed systems.
• Practical knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes, including managed environments such as Amazon EKS, Google GKE, or Azure AKS.
• Experience building reliable integrations using messaging platforms such as Kafka or RabbitMQ and databases such as PostgreSQL, Redis, and MongoDB.
• Strong knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC), particularly Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.
• Experience configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
• Advanced knowledge of Git, including version control strategies, branching workflows, code integration, and conflict resolution.
• Practical experience implementing observability solutions with Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK Stack.
• Proficiency in automated testing with JUnit and Mockito, along with experience using Java Flight Recorder (JFR) or similar profiling tools to optimize performance.
• Strong understanding of software security, system monitoring, distributed system reliability, and engineering standards.
• Demonstrated ability to make complex architectural decisions, evaluate technical trade-offs, and establish reusable solutions across teams.
• Proven technical leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to influence engineering practices and communicate complex concepts clearly.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, autonomy, and a commitment to continuous learning and technical excellence.
