Cadence Design Systems in Belo Horizonte, Brazil is seeking a Software Engineer II for Jasper R&D to join the Debug team. You will help develop and validate enhancements to the Jasper GUI (C++/Qt) and its back-end components, contributing to waveform visualization, code browsing, and schematic viewing tools.

You will collaborate with a global team, apply solid data structures and algorithms knowledge, and write clean, efficient C++ code in a fast-paced, technically challenging environment.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 1+ year of software development experience.
• Solid knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
• Good knowledge of the C++ programming language.
• Good spoken and written English.

Responsabilidades

• Developing and validating enhancements on Jasper GUI (C++/Qt) and its back-end.
• Visualize front-end: waveform drawing/manipulation and back-end: waveform simulation.
• Source Code Browser front-end: code display and syntax highlighting; back-end: token matching.

Job Description

• Developing and validating enhancements on Jasper Graphical User Interface (GUI - C++ & Qt) and its supporting back-end, such as:
• > Visualize™ - front-end: waveform drawing and manipulation / back-end: waveform simulation
• > Source Code Browser - front-end: code display and syntax highlighting / back-end: token matching
• > Schematic Viewer - front-end: gate layout and synthesis abstraction / back-end: graph theory and pattern matching
• Collaborating with team on pushing the boundary for next level debug capabilities in verification solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s in Computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering or equivalent experience.
• Experience with Software development: 1+ year
• Solid advanced data structures and algorithms knowledge.
• Good knowledge of the C++ programming language.
• Good spoken and written English.

Nice To Have

• Experience using the Qt C++ framework for developing GUI.
• Experience with formal verification and/or simulation.
• Knowledge/Experience EDA and VLSI design, including Verilog and VHDL languages.
