Job summary

Cadence Design Systems Inc. seeks an Intern: Software Engineering Jasper R&D to join the Research & Development team in Belo Horizonte.

The intern will explore bug fixes and feature development for Cadence Jasper formal verification tools, practicing object-oriented C++ on Linux and writing flows in Tcl and Python. Ideal candidates are studying Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related fields, with English and Portuguese communication skills, and availability to work in Belo Horizonte

Qualifications

• Education: studying Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields.
• Interest in learning C/C++ programming, Tcl or Python scripting, hardware description languages.

Responsibilities

• Learn and help implementing bug fixes and new features of Cadence’s Jasper formal verification tools
• Practice Object-oriented programming in C++ under Linux
• Implement flows using scripting languages such as Tcl and Python
• Program different algorithms and data structures
• Follow good practices for software quality assurance such as creating new tests, running tests regressions, and collaborating with QA engineers

Requirements
