Position Overview

We are seeking a talented and experienced Software Engineer to join our client's team, focusing on planning, developing, and maintaining fleet telematics software. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology, a strong background in software development, and expertise in technologies such as JavaScript, Node.js, React, SQL, and AWS services. Knowledge of C# .NET, React Native, and mobile platforms is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain software solutions for fleet telematics platforms, minimizing technical debt.
• Lead and contribute to technical projects from planning through release.
• Become an expert in the platform's architecture and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Translate product requirements into technical specifications and implementation plans.
• Follow best practices in coding, testing, documentation, and SCRUM methodologies.
• Troubleshoot issues, optimize performance, and ensure software quality and reliability.

Qualifications

• English proficiency at C1/C2 level.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in software development, especially with JavaScript and Node.js.
• Experience with front-end development using HTML5, CSS, React, and MVC principles.
• Cloud experience with AWS (EC2, RDS, DynamoDB, Redshift, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Proficiency with Git and collaborative development workflows.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with mobile development (React Native, iOS, Android).
• Knowledge of IoT communication protocols (TAIP, TCP, UDP, MQTT).
• Understanding of the fleet telematics industry and market dynamics.
• Scrum Master certification and AWS certifications are a plus.
