Amazon Pay Brazil seeks a Software Development Manager to own a critical lending platform pillar and lead a team of 7–8 engineers, shaping product and technical strategy for scalable, compliant lending solutions.
You will collaborate with legal, finance, tax, and risk teams to meet Brazilian regulations (Central Bank, PIX, Open Finance) and mentor engineers to deliver high-quality software at scale.
Are you excited about building the future of digital lending at massive scale? Do you want to own a critical product end-to-end (from architecture to delivery) while leading a high-performing engineering team in one of the world's fastest-growing fintech markets?
The Credit & Lending team at Amazon Pay is building Amazon's next-generation lending platform to enable seamless credit experiences for millions of customers across Latin America. We are looking for a Software Development Manager to be our Tech Site Leader in Brazil, owning a critical product pillar of the lending platform and leading a team of 7–8 software engineers to design, build, and operate highly scalable lending systems.
This is a high-visibility, high-ownership role at the intersection of fintech innovation, large-scale distributed systems, regulatory compliance, and customer obsession. You will own both the "what" and the "how", driving product and technical vision while building a world-class engineering team from Brazil.
This role requires a builder who thrives in ambiguity, can go deep on system design and code quality, and is equally comfortable making product trade-offs, mentoring engineers, and influencing cross-functional stakeholders in a fast-moving environment.
