Jobtailor is seeking a candidate to join our operations team to support Linux environments and containerized workloads. You will help with running and troubleshooting Docker/Podman, creating container images, and refining automation scripts in Shell or Python.

The role emphasizes developing automation, logging, and observability, while participating in dev/test workflows and API integrations with external services, including AI experiments. Collaboration with the team is essential.

Qualificações

• Basic knowledge of Linux command line and navigation.
• Understanding of container concepts (Docker/Podman).
• Familiarity with at least one programming language (Python, Shell, or similar).
• Interest in automation and how systems operate.
• Basic networking and how applications communicate (HTTP, ports).
• Experience with development environments (Git, version control).
• Familiarity with CI/CD processes and observability basics.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in running and troubleshooting containerized applications (Docker/Podman)
• Support creating and maintaining container images (Dockerfiles)
• Develop and refine automation scripts (Shell, Python, or similar)
• Support running applications and services in controlled environments (dev/test)
• Assist with system integration using APIs
• Support incident analysis and initial problem diagnosis
• Collect and analyze basic logs for troubleshooting
• Document technical procedures and configurations
• Participate in operational routines and team ceremonies
• Support experiments integrating external services, including AI

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of Linux (command line, navigation, common commands)
• Basic understanding of containers (Docker or Podman)
• Knowledge of programming logic
• Familiarity with at least one programming language (Python, Shell, or similar)
• Interest in automation and how systems operate
• Basic knowledge of networking and application behavior (HTTP, ports, etc.)
