Job description

TCS is seeking a ServiceNow Platform Architect to lead the architecture, governance, design, and optimization of enterprise ServiceNow solutions. The role focuses on defining scalable platform strategies, driving architecture standards, governing platform adoption, and ensuring alignment with business and technical objectives across ServiceNow implementations.

The ServiceNow Platform Architect will work closely with business stakeholders, enterprise architects, technical teams, and ServiceNow consultants to deliver best-in-class platform solutions. This role involves platform architecture design, governance, CMDB and CSDM strategy, integration architecture, upgrade planning, security architecture, and lifecycle management across the ServiceNow ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and govern enterprise-scale ServiceNow platform architectures.
• Define end-to-end solution designs aligned with business and technical requirements.
• Establish governance frameworks, standards, and best practices for ServiceNow implementations.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture teams to align ServiceNow roadmaps with organizational goals.
• Manage technical debt and recommend platform optimization strategies.
• Develop and execute ServiceNow upgrade and release management strategies.
• Architect and govern CMDB implementations and configuration management processes.
• Drive adoption of the Common Service Data Model (CSDM) framework.
• Design integrations using Integration Hub and enterprise integration platforms.
• Oversee Service Catalog architecture and service delivery frameworks.
• Define and maintain ServiceNow security models, roles, and access controls.
• Establish data architecture standards and data governance processes.
• Manage instance lifecycle strategy, including development, testing, production, and upgrade environments.
• Provide architectural leadership, technical guidance, and governance to project teams.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for platform innovation and continuous improvement.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong experience with the ServiceNow platform.
• Expertise in ServiceNow Platform Architecture.
• Experience in Solution Design and Enterprise Architecture.
• Knowledge of Governance Frameworks and Architecture Best Practices.
• Experience managing Technical Debt and Platform Optimization initiatives.
• Expertise in Upgrade Strategy and Release Management.
• Strong experience with CMDB Architecture and Implementation.
• Deep understanding of Common Service Data Model (CSDM).
• Hands-on experience with Integration Hub and ServiceNow Integrations.
• Strong knowledge of Service Catalog Architecture and Design.
• Experience implementing Security Models, Roles, and Access Controls.
• Knowledge of Data Architecture and Data Governance.
• Experience with Instance Lifecycle Management.

Required Certifications:

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).
• At least one ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certification.

Preferred Certifications:

• ArchX Advanced Architecture Certification.
• ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA).
• TOGAF Certification.
