Marketra, a marketing agency, seeks a remote SEO Specialist in Brazil to own search results for US clients. You will manage local SEO, technical and on-page SEO, content, and AI Search workflows using Claude Code, reporting to the founder with full ownership of work.

You will handle Google Business Profiles, local citations, keyword mapping, and WordPress-based site improvements, while producing clear monthly reports and staying updated on AI search trends.

Formación

• 2+ years of hands-on SEO experience, including local US business SEO.
• Proven work with Google Business Profile and the Google Maps local pack.
• Solid technical SEO skills and comfort working in WordPress.
• Strong writing in English for US customers.
• Knowledge of AI Search and how AI tools choose sources.
• Experience with Claude Code or willingness to learn quickly.
• Experience with Google Search Console, GA4, and SEO tools such as Ahrefs, Semrush or Screaming Frog.
• Fluent or advanced English for written and spoken communication with US clients.

Responsabilidades

• Manage and optimize Google Business Profiles: categories, services, posts, photos, Q&A and review responses.
• Build and clean up local citations and keep business info (NAP) consistent across directories.
• Do keyword research and map keywords to service pages and location pages.
• Run technical SEO audits (indexing, crawl, site speed, Core Web Vitals, structured data) and fix issues on WordPress sites.
• Optimize on-page SEO: titles, meta descriptions, headings, internal links and schema.
• Plan, write and edit service pages, location pages and blog posts that rank and convert.
• Improve AI Search visibility: structure content to be quoted, add FAQ and entity data, track brand mentions in AI answers.
• Use Claude Code to build scripts and workflows for audits, data pulls, briefs and reports.
• Track results in Google Search Console, GA4 and rank tracking tools; write monthly client reports.
• Stay current on Google updates and changes in AI search.

Marketra is a marketing agency based in Houston, Texas. We help businesses and contractors across the United States get found on Google, Google Maps and AI search, and turn that visibility into leads. We don't sell generic packages. Every client gets a plan built around their market and goals, and when off-the-shelf tools fall short, we build our own.

The role

We're hiring a full-time, remote SEO Specialist in Brazil to own search results for a group of U.S. clients. You'll handle local SEO, technical and on-page SEO, content, and AI Search (getting clients cited in ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Gemini and Perplexity). We also use Claude Code every day to automate audits, reporting and repetitive SEO work, so you'll build and run those workflows too. You'll report directly to the founder and have real ownership of your work.

What you bring

• Knowledge of AI Search (also called AEO and GEO) and how AI tools choose their sources
• Experience with Claude Code, or a strong interest in learning it fast.
• Experience with Google Search Console, GA4, and SEO tools such as Ahrefs,Semrush or Screaming Frog
• Fluent or advanced English for written and spoken communication with U.S.clients
• Organized, self-directed, and comfortable working remotely across timezones

Nice to have

• Experience with home service or contractor clients (HVAC, plumbing,roofing)
• Portfolio or case examples showing results you drove

What we offer

• Salary: $2,000 to $3,000 USD per month, based on experience
