Dev.Pro, a remote-first IT services company, is hiring a Senior Test Automation Engineer to join our global team working on a cloud-based restaurant POS platform used by U.S. businesses.

You will develop and maintain automated tests for web and mobile applications, extend the automation framework, and collaborate with developers, QA, product teams, and Team Leads to ensure product quality.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of hands-on test automation experience.
• Strong knowledge of testing principles and design techniques.
• Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Experience with WebdriverIO and API/REST testing.
• Experience integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines.

Responsabilidades

• Refactor and enhance the automation framework to expand coverage.

• Ensure tests run reliably in CI/CD pipelines.

We invite a Senior Test Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team working on a well-established cloud-based restaurant POS platform used by thousands of U.S. businesses. In this role, you’ll help improve and extend the existing automation framework, develop reliable automated tests for web and mobile applications, and collaborate closely with developers, QA engineers, Product teams, and Team Leads to ensure product quality.

Is that you?

• 5+ years of hands‑on experience in test automation
• Strong knowledge of software testing principles, automation best practices, and test design techniques
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript
• Hands‑on experience with WebdriverIO
• Hands‑on experience with web and mobile application testing, including mobile test automation
• Experience with API and integration testing (REST/GraphQL) using tools such as Postman, and a solid understanding of REST principles and HTTP methods
• Understanding of cross-browser and cross-platform testing
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem‑solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Upper-Intermediate English level

Desirable:

• Experience with React-based web applications
• Experience with additional automation tools such as Playwright, Selenium, Cucumber, or Appium
• Familiarity with containerized test environments (Docker)
• Familiarity with AWS or other cloud platforms
• Experience with FinTech or payment systems
• Experience working with U.S.-based or international clients

Key responsibilities and your contribution

In this role, you'll collaborate closely with the engineering team to ensure the quality and reliability of a mature cloud-based restaurant POS platform.

• Develop, maintain, and improve end-to-end, API, integration, and mobile tests
• Write reliable, maintainable tests with clear failure diagnostics
• Refactor and enhance the existing automation framework, expand automation coverage, and help stabilize flaky tests
• Monitor automated test execution, investigate failures, and track test reliability metrics across web and mobile testing
• Work closely with developers to identify, reproduce, document, and track defects
• Ensure automated tests run reliably within CI/CD pipelines
• Contribute to automation reporting and test reliability metrics
• Collaborate with the team to clarify acceptance criteria, support early testing, and participate in test code reviews
• Contribute to continuous improvements of automation practices and product quality
